Five Vassar seniors present an exhibition of their work in Poughkeepsie, May 15 and 22.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY—Five Vassar students will present the Senior Studio Art Show, in the City of Poughkeepsie at 39 Academy Street (first floor, on the corner of Academy and Church Street). The exhibition is open to the public two Saturdays only, May 15 and 22. The students - Madeleine Cichy, Frances Morris, Luke Stern, Mary Grace Tate, and Charlie Warren - are five studio art majors and will present their senior theses and other selected works in this exhibition on view from 3:00 to 7:00pm.

In addition to the exhibition, there will be a reception with refreshments, generously donated by Julie's, Bittersweet Chocolates, Mole Mole, Noshi's, Rossi's, Twisted Soul, and flower arrangements by Morgan's Florist.

About the Studio Art Program at Vassar

The Studio program offers classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, and video art. The aim of the studio courses is to impart modes of thinking and problem solving, relevant to a variety to intellectual undertakings, through the production of works of art.

Vassar College is a highly selective, coeducational, independent, residential liberal arts college founded in 1861.
